The Weirdest Freaking Game You've Ever Seen Second Half Open Thread

Let's laugh our way to our highest offensive output to the season, and toast a glass to the worst defense since Cumberland allowed 222 to Georgia Tech in 1916. Leave comments below.

Amazing, after we score in the second half, we'll be up by 3.

One bright spot I find comfort in is that I don't see the offense slowing down much next year and the defense can only get better. I like the opportunity this horrible year is giving us to evaluate the entire depth chart in actual games.

You know, the coach who wins doesn't deserve to say his team did anything right. He should just say that his defense sucked a little less than the other one and move on.

geez, Kaipo now.?

North Texas is beat on defense. We're killing them with the dive.

just wish we could make 1 or 2 more stops

Start praying that Johnson doesn't go for the Big Time....

until Nebraska takes your head coach.

Dear God people your team just put up 70+ on Kansas St. Go enjoy your victory and leave us alone.

PJ aint going nowhere!
Stop trying to steal our coach.

I did love his comment something like "how would you feel putting up 60 so points - AND YOU LOST!

We were watching this score on TV and could not believe - we thought it was a typo when they put up the 2nd quarter score!

How come we didnt score 100?

We're not spamming you and you're blowing this out of proportion.

The Huskers are a big time program (bigger than Navy will ever be and I'd challenge you to argue that.) A big time program in need a new head coach with some consistency.

PJ is a great head coach and knows how to get the most out of his players (scoring 70+ with a triple option team and getting over 500 rush yards with military recruits is beyond amazing.)

PJ has that smashmouth identity that Nebraska could really use right now. I admit, that last post was semi-jestful and I didn't think it'd get your panties in a bunch like it did. Sorry about that.

PJ probably won't come to Nebraska. But he could, and you Navy fans should pray he doesn't. He's the best thing that's happened to your team in decades.

Well PJ may want to see whats up with his D coach after this years massacre.
Hey one day mans gotta go for the final green pastures and it very well may be Nebraska.
Well your program is surely "big time" but much of that could be attributed to players better suited for the "big house".
Maybe not now but surely under Osborne.

True. I admire PJ for doing what he's done with these young men. Military fitness requirements and stringent academic regulations and admissions don't allow for the prototypical football star that a bigger school like Nebraska can acquire.

His job is one of the toughest and winning with these guys is nothing short of amazing. If he decides to leave (he probably won't), I wouldn't mind him being in consideration for the Nebraska job.
